Credit & Thirft Activity:

INRECA Sansthan has been involved in Micro credit finance for the tribal beneficiaries and provides an access to credit to them through various cooperative societies. Loans were made available to the beneficiaries to the tune of 40 lakhs since 1985. The amount of loan disbursed in the year 2017-18 was -20 lakhs. The loans are provided through National and regional rural banks and even INRECA’s own funds. The recovery of the loans has been 100%. At present INRECA Sansthan is associated with 80 odd SHGs in 65 villages of Dediapada block and 30 SHGs in 30 villages of Sagbara blocks. The total membership stands at 2000. Some groups are also being formed in Dadra & Nagar Haveli (UT).

Objectives of the SHGs:
  • To create awareness among the women for saving for future.
  • To make them habitual for compulsory savings.
  • To organize the saving of groups as their own.
  • To provide loan to the needy members of groups.
  • To sure the return of loan by themselves.
  • To exact the mutual understanding and responsibility in order to uplift themselves.
