Union Home Minister started its Manav Samaj Sangathan; social working in Kurukshetra in Haryana state where rehabilitation and income generating activities were launched for the beggars, abandoned and sick, wanderers being religious place. Patron & President of INERCA Dr. Vinod Kumar M. Koushik with met Sh. Guljarilal Nandaji when he was studying & regularly used to meet him. Finally, Dr. Koushik started working with Sh. Nandaji as a Volunteer with leprosy patients & started economic activities for Leprosy patients like candle Making. Chalk Making etc. On the other hand, Dr. Koushik becomes well versed in management regarding how to run an institution by staying Bharat Sevashram Sangh for 5 years. It has become vice versa when Sh. Nanda was hailing from Gujarat was working in Haryana & Dr. Koushik is hailing from Haryana & working in Gujarat. Apart from it, Dr. Koushik had also been associated with ABVP & truly inspired by Sh.Dinanathji Batra of Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta High School.

After completing his study Dr. Koushik jointed Corporate Company as Research Officer in Ahmedabad in 1982. During this period there was heavy flood in Amreli district Dr. Koushik reached Vanthali for rescue/relief work with Bharat Sevashram Sangh, Ahmedabad & finally resigned from lucrative service despite cleared UPSC. While stay in Ahmedabad during the festival organized by BSS & VHP jointly then came in contact with Dr. Vishwanath Vanikarji in Ahmedabad who felt pain of tribal masses & used to advise if you really want to serve the country then go to tribal areas & eventually Dr Koushik decided to serve the deprived community rather than joining job and landed at Dediapada of then Bharuch district & started welfare activities through Bharat Sevashram Sangh till 1984, Thereafter Dr. Koushik floated this new organization.
